Hazel separates from her sister, Kelly, to head to class, only for a lockdown to break out. She and her classmates peek out the window and see bloody figures walking the lawn. They think it's a joke, but soon they hear screams in the hall. Hazel's sister bursts into the room in tears, but Hazel realizes she did not open the door. She traveled through it. Zombies break into the classroom, and Hazel escapes with her classmates, using her sister's ghost as a guide and lookout.
