Craigslist Baby Daddy
About:
After a breakup with her long-term boyfriend, Hazel Montgomery's journey to motherhood begins in a unique way - posting an ad on Craigslist to find a baby daddy. This snags the attention of down on his luck and low on cash Ryder Quinn, who needs money for rent after losing his job. His best friend Kai jokingly shows him Hazel’s ad, and though he initially rejects the idea he decides money is money. He shows up to his interview late, and it gets off to a rocky start. But there’s undeniable chemistry between Ryder and Hazel. Though he’s heavily tattooed and messy in the devil may care kind of way, he charms Hazel and she decides that even though he wasn’t exactly who she pictured, that he’s the right fit. After a chance encounter at a pharmacy a month later, Ryder sees Hazel buying a pregnancy test and asks if she’d like support while she waits for the results. She agrees and they go to her apartment and see the test results come back as positive, a shift happens in their dynamic. Ryder and Hazel begin to form a friendship, and after initially asking Hazel if it could be a no contact situation he tells her he's changed his mind and would like to be involved. Slowly over the months of her pregnancy their friendship deepens as they experience some of the more ridiculous aspects of her pregnancy journey, and their friendship deepens into love. At their baby shower Hazel's ex-boyfriend Aaron comes back into the picture, asking her for a second chance. Fearing that he's keeping Hazel and their baby from the future she truly always imagined Ryder breaks up with her, so that she can be with Aaron again, which devastates Hazel's as she is very much in love with Ryder. Just before she's due to give birth Hazel breaks up with Aaron again as they amicably decide that they truly aren't a good fit and Aaron doesn't want to be a Dad. Ryder's best friend Kai, and Hazel's sister Ivy and Hazel's best friend Bree conspire to "parent trap" Ryder and Hazel so they can talk out their miscommunication. Ryder apologizes and confesses his love, telling Hazel he thought he was doing the right thing and giving her and their baby the future she always envisioned. Hazel confesses her love for him as well, telling him he is the partner and future she wants.

About the Author
Chrissy Kingsley is just a witchy girl, standing in front of her computer, doing her best. In 2017 she made her feature film debut in Robert Wenzek’s film The Prodigal Dad. In 2023 she made her directorial debut with the short horror film ALICE. Aside from film, Chrissy has a love for all things romantasy and supernatural, and a super normal obsession for all Guillermo Del Toro’s films and morally grey men.
