In a not so far future where people’s ethnicities are used to disallow them from crossing borders, one individual thinks he is above the local turmoil and soon discovers that prejudice is something that not everyone gets the privilege to wield.

- This takes place at a border crossing where there are guns used by border patrol officers. The garb might also be triggering as there are people who might be dressed up in wear that evokes nazism. Additionally much of the language in the short deals with racial biases and other hurtful topics in that realm.
About the Author
Kenneth Seto Tynan is an award winning artist for his work in film and theatre. He has taken to writing little over five years ago and as a writer he wants to highlight mixed people’s stories and what it means to be of two or more cultures instead of pinning people into boxes. He can be found figure skating and playing the fiddle when not contemplating heavy topics.
Short Film Adaptation Idea
For this film/teaser of my short story, we would see the line where people are waiting and we would see the main character standing in the rain as we witness a mixed family be torn apart by the authorities that be. It could probably go for longer depending on how the adaptation goes
