Short Film Adaptation Idea
A group of friends gather to say goodbye to one of their own, heading off to college. But photos appear on their phones of a boy they don't know, but who was clearly one of the group. They ask Siri to name the boy, but it cannot. Then the mystery deepens when they finally ask Siri, "What happened to our friend?" to which the AI responds, "Which one?" Near the end, one of the boys steps outside to grab something from the car, and doesn't return. Within minutes, he is forgotten. It is like he never existed at all.
